Find the meeting and agenda

City Council meets on scheduled Wednesdays at 1 p.m. in Henry Baker Hall at City Hall. Read the 2026 meeting calendar because this is not every Wednesday. Council and committee agendas are posted on Fridays.

The City says its Meeting Portal has intermittent technical issues and provides a separate agenda link. Meetings are streamed on MyAccess.ca and may air on AccessNow when community programming allows. Public attendance in person is welcome.

Register before the deadline

Use the online delegation form for an agenda item. Registration closes at noon on the Monday before the scheduled meeting, or noon Tuesday when Monday is a statutory holiday. For an item not on the agenda, write to the Office of the City Clerk to discuss a committee request or referral.

Include meeting date, agenda subject, spokesperson name and mailing address, organization if relevant, attendance method, and contact telephone details. The City asks for the number you will call from and says it cannot be blocked. Call 306-777-7262 for form or technical help.

Prepare a public presentation

A Council delegation needs a written brief with speaking points, full name and organization if applicable. A committee presentation does not require a written brief in advance. Submissions must be respectful and follow the Council Procedure Bylaw.

The written submission becomes part of the meeting’s historical record. Council speaking time is five minutes. Registered virtual delegates receive a unique meeting link by email; a call-in option remains for people without internet access. Do not include personal details you do not want in a public submission.
